  8. Thank you all for your kind words. Your thoughts and prayers are very much appreciated. It was one of those weeks filled with grief, guilt (all those memories never written down, all those pictures never taken, all those weeks that went by without a visit from us), and the recurring question: "why does it always take a death to remind you of what is important in life?"

    I am grateful that the boys and I had stopped by for a visit only a week before he passed away. It is a precious memory to hold on to. Teletoons Retro and candy for the boys (they were always so spoiled there!) and a chance for Granddad and I to talk.
